A charitable organization intends to help women

A new organization was formed in Nikolaev which is going to help women caught in difficult situations. Its founder Marina Stefanovich experienced a difficult family situation herself, then decided that women in Ukraine often need professional legal and psychological assistance.

Mykolaiv region charitable organization “Women’s league” is no more than a month old.

”We want to make it a place where any woman who is having a difficult time could come and get qualified advice” – said Marina Stefanovich. “Now we can offer assistance of a psychologist and a lawyer. In the future we plan to organize various sports activities and educational programs.”

The main contributor to the “Women’s league” is an American Gary Stillwagon. Marina Sefanovich hopes that other people and organisations will join the ranks of the organization wishing to help others.
